From this there waa a rally to 90, and, after other fluctuations, the closing prices were 90 to 90 for money, and 00 to 90g for the account In the market for foreign securities the first effeot of the American intelligence was a fall of about 6 or 7 per cent in Federal bonds, and a rally of 3 per cent Li the Confederate Loan to 17. Subsequently there 'as- a partial reaction to 15 to 17.

Other atooto closed at an average of about lower. 100,000 sovereigns were taken from the Bank to-day for Antwerp, 200,000 for Constantinople, and 6,000 worth of gold waa sold.
